This is one of the places I have decided to got to after I bought my camera since its not too far and you can experience part of Baguio or Tagaytay here. My colleagues went there couple of months ago for tree planting. I've seen some of their photos and videos. There are lots of potential subjects there that I can start of. I've visited Pinoy Travel Blog and La Mesa Eco Park Homepage to get some information of the place like how to get there, amenities and facilities. I never expected at first that La Mesa Eco Park is located in one of the subdivision in Fairview.

How to get there:

Take bus, FX or jeep from Philcoa by the entrance of University of the Philippines (around P20.00 if you take jeep)

Landmarks are:

At the gate there are tricycles to and from La Mesa Eco Park that you can ride so no need to worry. It will cost you P25.00 for special ride.

Since the drop-off area for tricylces is jut near the swimming pool, we decided to go there first and take few shots.

There is cab inside the park that can be used in going around. I'm not sure if who can use this or if there's a fee for riding in this cab.

You can also fish for lunch here. :)

Or if you're not fond of fishing, you can just buy food on any of the kiosk around the area. Foods are very affordable. They range from as low as P35.00 - P100

I was surprised to see different kinds of flowers and trees. It's very relaxing and smells like province.

Here are the boats that you can ride on at the Superferry Boating Lagoon.

There's still lot more to see in La Mesa Eco Park. You can spend one whole day around relaxing and breathe fresh air. This is a good place to gather your family on a weekend and do some bonding activities. And most importantly, it's affordable.
