Day 1: Fireworks

I hope to have 365 photo blog this year where I will be posting random things and write something about it.
This photo will be the first on my list. This is my father lighting a fireworks on our rooftop. Definitely the first thing that you want to do before new year enters. I would really love to have fireworks display next year. 5 mins would be very nice.
Did you know that fireworks were invented in ancient China in 12th century to scare away evil spirits. Before it was only used by royalties and riches people and only in Ming Dynasty that it can be used by common people for any occasion.
