  • Puerto Princesa, Palawan 4D/3N Itinerary on Budget

    Just went to Palawan last September 13-16. It's raining in Manila but whoah it's super hot in Palawan. :p. Buti na lang.. kasi kung hindi baka mas ok pang bumalik na lang. Anyway, we are 10 in the group and here's our partly DIY and partly packaged tour with est budget;


    Day 1 - Honda Bay

    arrived 9:45 in Roxas City. Take the earliest flight para hindi masayang yung araw.

    9:45 - arrival (taxi -200/person,breakfast meal: 100/person. terminal fee - 200)
    1o:00 - check in (we stayed in Lola Itang around 10min from the airport. Free transfer-in)
    10:30 - prepare for honda bay tour (just arrange with any tricycle driver. That's 450 per tricycle, max of 5)
    11:00 - lunch (we had our first lunch at Balinsasayaw. 150/person)
    12:00 - 30min tricycle ride
    12:30 - depart going to islands. 3 islands (starfish-25/person, snake, pandan-5o/person)
    6:00 - going back. On he way, Bat watching
    6:30 - depart going back to Lola Itang
    8:00 - dinner at Kinabuch (150/person + 7 tricycle fare)
    TOTAL -772

    Day 2 - Dos Palmas
    wake up as early as 6 am because shuttle bus going to honday bay departs at exactly 7am. No waiting time.

    we arranged our package tour with kuya Joel on Day 1. Just PM me for the contact number. P1800 per person which includes transfer in and out (bus and boat), buffet lunch, facilities except pool and spa, kayaking, snorkeling (with motor boat ride to reef spots, etc).

    6:30 - breakfast anywhere (meal-50/person)
    7:00 - depart going to honda bay (pick-up point NCC mall)
    7:30 - depart going to Dos Palmas (security checking before riding the boat)
    8:30 - arrival at Dos Palmas
    Things to do before lunch
    kayaking and snorkeling
    12:00 - buffet lunch.
    1:00 - Things to do after lunch
    billiards, darts, take pictures around Dos Palmas and chill. ;p
    3:30 - back to honda bay
    5:30 - back to pick-up point (NCC mall)
    5:45 - buy pasalubong (Tiangge-Tiangge is walking distance from NCC mall)
    8:30 - dinner at Badjao seafront (food is quite expensive but we still manage to stick into our budget of 150/person. Tricycle ride going there is expensive too, 150 per tricycle roundtrip ride, max of 5)
    TOTAL - 2030

    Day 3 - Underground River
    depature as early as 7am para makarating ng maaga sa sabang wharf kasi mahaba ang pila ng mga pumupunta. para sa mga mahihiluhin, uminom ng bonamine. ;p

    we also arrange package tour with Joel which includes van, boat and buffet lunch. 1150/person. If you will arrange DIY tour, it will cost you around 800 each, pwede na rin yung package, wala ka pang iisipin.

    6:00 - breakfast anywhere (100/person)
    7:00 - depart going to Sabang wharf
    9:00 - depart going to underground river
    9:30 - cruise at underground river
    11:00 - buffet lunch
    4:30 - depart going to Lola Itang
    request the tour guide to drop by New Market to buy danggit or pusit, only if you want.
    6:30 - arrive at Lola Itang
    8:00 - dinner at Ka Lui (this is per reservation only esp when you will arrive in group and is available at 7:30 or 8:30 only) 150/person
    TOTAL - 1400

    Day 4 - City Tour
    we woke up late since we book the latest flight at 5pm. So no rush.
    we rent a van also with Joel that cost 1200/van for 4 hours max of 10. Exceeding time will cost you 300/hour. So wag kayo magtatagal sa mga destination para hindi ma-charge ng extra hours

    10:00 - breakfast/lunch (meal 150/person)
    11:00 - City tour
    Cathedral, Butterfly Garden, Iwahig Penal Colony, Crododile Farm (opens at 1:30),
    Baker's Hill ( Bailey's muffin a must try, buy crinkles and hopia for pasalubong),
    Mitra's Ranch
    merienda (meal 100/person)
    3:30 - depart going to Airport (terminal fee-20/person)
    7:00 - arrive Manila (texi fare - 200/person)
    TOTAL 590

    Grand Total 4792

    This does not include airfare and pasalubong. :)

      hi.. can you post the contact number for Kuya Joel? For the City tour, how much are the entrance fees for each place since the rent is only for the van right? thanks!

      yeah, your right, i forgot to include the entrances.you will only pay 25 for butterfly farm and 40 for crocodile farm. the rest do not have entrance fees. joels number is 09054178263

      Thanks for the detailed itinerary. Anyway, my fiance and I are travelling to Puerto Princesa and I am thinking of just doing the DIY Honda Bay tour via tricycle ride since the travel agency that I inquired at said that we have to hurry after checking in so that we can still join the group tours.
      Would you recommend that we just rent a tricycle for the Honda Bay tour? Moreover, how did you transfer from one island to another during your Honda Bay tour?

      hi Grace, yes i would recommend tricycle in hunda bay tour.nearly 45min ride. and ther are may bangkeros in the hunda bay for the island tour. you can also haggle for prices. :)
